Steve Wehrenberg, Campbell Mithun's CEO since 2007, is leaving the Minneapolis ad agency to take a leadership position at the University of Minnesota School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Wehrenberg, an adjunct professor at the school, will become a professor of strategic communication and director of the school's professional master's in strategic communication.
Wehrenberg, 56, was at Campbell Mithun for 31 years. He will stay with the agency in a transition role through the summer.
A search will be conducted to find a new CEO.
