Suspicious activity. A resident on the 100 block of Stuart Drive reported hearing a suspicious noise at 10:30 p.m. the previous night. She described the noise as possibly a woman screaming or a large cat. She was advised to call back if she heard the noise again.

Driving violations. Officers responded to Hwy. 169 near Broadway Street on a report that a vehicle was all over the road and the driver was texting. Officers located the vehicle and the driver, a 19-year-old woman and arrested her for two outstanding Scott County warrants. They cited her for driving after suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia, underage possession of alcohol and an open container in a motor vehicle.

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to Old Hwy. 169 on a report of a man shooting off fireworks by the side of the road. Officers located a 63-year-old man matching the suspect's description on Aberdeen Avenue. He admitted to lighting a bottle rocket and was advised of the law regarding illegal fireworks.

JUNE 4

Theft. Loose change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 300 block of Jennifer Lane. It was found that loose change was stolen from a number of unlocked vehicles in the area.

JUNE 5

Welfare check. Officers responded to a business on the 500 block of Syndicate Street on a report of an unconscious man on the ground. Police found an intoxicated, 57-year-old man. He was taken to the hospital.

PRIOR LAKE

MAY 27

Theft. A 31-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for theft of movable property after he stole $480 from a wallet that was left near a slot machine at Mystic Lake Casino, 2400 Mystic Lake Blvd.

MAY 29

Obstruction. A 16-year-old Minneapolis boy was arrested for giving false information to police, presenting an identification of another person, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Mystic Lake Casino, 2400 Mystic Lake Blvd.

JUNE 8

Drugs. A 40-year-old Prior Lake woman was cited for possession of marijuana at Franklin Trail and Bluff Heights Trail.

Theft. A bike light and bike GPS were stolen from Michael's Cycles, 16731 Hwy. 13. The business approved payment of restitution in return for no charges against the juvenile offenders.

JUNE 11

Theft. A gun was stolen from a vehicle on the 14300 block of Lois Avenue.

JUNE 12

Drugs. A 38-year-old Faribault man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance on the 16500 block of Lyons Avenue.

SHAKOPEE

MAY 28

Assault. A 37-year-old Shakopee man was cited for assault on the 1500 block of McIntosh Circle.

MAY 30

Fraud. A 17-year-old Plymouth boy was cited for displaying a false identification at Canterbury Card Club, 1100 Canterbury Road.

MAY 31

Drugs. Officers responded to Marcus Theater, 8380 Hansen Av., to check the welfare of an individual. A 30-year-old Excelsior man was cited for inhaling toxic substances.

JUNE 2

Drugs. A 20-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for marijuana in a motor vehicle at McDonald's, 3990 12th Av.

JUNE 4

Curfew violation. Officers observed a suspicious vehicle in Huber Park, 150 Fillmore St. Two 16-year-old Shako­pee girls were cited for curfew violation and a 16-year-old Shakopee boy was cited for curfew violation and possessing a stun gun.

JUNE 5

Drunken driving. A 49-year-old Shako­pee man was arrested for drunken driving, open bottle and failure to produce proof of insurance at 1st Avenue and Spencer Street.
