The SPCO is recognized for its collaboration with soprano Dawn Upshaw and composer/conductor Maria Schneider, a native of Windom, Minn., for "Winter Morning Walks" on ArtistShare. Upshaw is nominated for best classical vocal solo and Schneider for best contemporary classical composition.
