Traffic levels are heavier than usual on northbound Cedar Avenue from 127th Street in Apple Valley up to the Minnesota River bridge. It's 15 minutes up to the Crosstown.

On the Crosstown, westbound traffic is thick from 28th Avenue to 35W and eastbound from Penn Avenue to 35W. Most of that is due to the four crashes on northbound 35W between 46th Street to 26th Street.
The usual line up is in place on southbound 94 heading into the Lowry Hill Tunnel. Plan on 8 minutes from Olson Hwy. to 35W.
Westbound 94 is locked up from Century Avenue to Marion Street, making for a 20-minute commute.
The special election Nov. 5 will determine whether the GOP flips control of the state Senate or the DFL stays in charge.
