The Schubert Club, Minnesota's oldest arts organization, has announced a 2011-12 season that includes the return of pianist André Watts and mezzo Susan Graham in separate concerts. In addition, violinist Christian Tetzlaff and pianists Alfred Brendel and Menahem Pressler are on tap for special offerings. Watts will perform an all-Liszt program in November and Graham is slated for January.

The INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS SERIES features these dates:

OCT. 4: Violinist Sarah Chang and pianist Andrew von Oeyen.

NOV. 29: Watts.

JAN. 10: Graham and pianist Malcolm Martineau.

FEB. 15: violinist Julia Fischer and pianist Milana Chernyavska.

APRIL 25: baritone Matthias Goerne and pianist Leif Ove Andsnes.

All performances are at 8 p.m. at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul.

The MUSIC IN THE PARK series consists of these programs:

St. Lawrence String Quartet, Oct. 16; cellist Wendy Warner and pianist Irina Nuzova, Nov. 13; Goldstein-Peled-Fiterstein Trio, Jan. 8; Ysaÿe Quartet, Feb. 26; Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, April 15; Escher String Quartet with guitarist Jason Vieaux, April 29.

All performances are at 4 p.m. at St. Anthony Park United Church of Christ, 2129 Commonwealth Av., St. Paul.

Tetzlaff will perform a solo recital in March 2012 as part of a two-week tour of the Twin Cities. He also is to perform with the Minnesota Orchestra and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra during his residency.

Brendel is scheduled for two lectures in October. Retired from performing full recitals, he will speak on Beethoven's sonatas and poetry; next March, Pressler will present a colloquium on his life, Beethoven and Mozart.
