Google offers 'time' of your life
Everyone knows that Google tracks our every move. Now the tech giant is making this semi-invasive reality useful (sort of). This week, Google debuted Your Timeline, a feature inside Google Maps that catalogs your entire location-based history (via your smartphone) on a nifty timeline, complete with photos (if you use Google Photos). The company thinks users will get a kick out of looking back at their vacation travels or simply daily travel routines. Your Timeline is visible only to you. So it's not super creepy. Just sort of creepy. Available on desktop or Android.
