The latest eye-fork stat of the day: 18 of the 29 MLB teams that aren't based in Minnesota have won a playoff series more recently than the Twins.

Eight-[redacted]-teen.

That information comes courtesy of former colleague Jeff S.

The teams: AL: NYY, Boston, White Sox, Angels, Detroit, Oakland, Cleveland, Tampa Bay.
NL: Cubs, Florida, St. Louis, Houston, Mets, Colorado, Arizona, Dodgers, Phillies and Giants.

And yes, that includes every other AL Central team except the Royals.
