The recent fast-breaking weather along the East Slopes of the Rockies and
across the High Plains is tough to keep up with. A warm shot of air during
midweek caused temperatures to peak near 70 in Denver, Colorado. Friday, the
weather turned foul in Denver with snow. Highs in the Mile High City were only
the 20s Friday, which is nearly 40 degrees colder than the day before.
Coming next is a quick rebound to milder weather. Highs along and to the east of the Great Divide will be in the 50s Sunday, then temperatures will shoot for the 60s again on Monday.
