Chip Scoggins is a sports columnist and enterprise writer for the Minnesota Star Tribune. A graduate of the University of Missouri journalism school, Scoggins worked at newspapers in Texas, Connecticut, North Carolina and Chicago before joining the Minnesota Star Tribune in 2000. He has been named Minnesota's Sportswriter of the Year four times by the National Sports Media Association.
