An email report this morning from a woman in Hopkins: robins are singing their spring song in her neighborhood. That came via the email list managed by the Minnesota Ornithologists' Union.
We had a Downy Wodpecker gently tapping its courtship "song" on one of our backyard trees yesterday. Gotta be rehearsals.
And it sounds wonderful.
