Even if you concede that Prince Fielder moves pretty well for a guy his size, the natural skeptic has to wonder: Fielder at first base ... Miguel Cabrera at third base ... is that really a good idea?

Sure, it balances out the diamond in a certain way.

Cabrera says he's up for it -- a return to his "natural position."

If Ben Revere doesn't bunt 9,000 times this season against the Tigers, it will be considered a failure.
