New Gophers football coach P.J. Fleck landed another recruit Sunday when wide receiver Harry Van Dyne announced a verbal commitment via Twitter.

Van Dyne, of Blue Valley High School in Stilwell, Kan., is ranked as a three-star recruit by 247sports.com. At 6-5 and 185 pounds, he attracted multiple scholarship offers, including ones from Iowa, Kansas and Western Michigan, where Fleck coached before coming to the Gophers earlier this month. He announced his commitment after an official visit to the U campus Friday.

Sunday, Van Dyne tweeted photos of himself at TCF Bank Stadium along with his announcement. He wrote on Twitter that he was "excited and blessed" to commit to the Gophers.

The commitment was the second Fleck picked up over the weekend, after three-star cornerback Demetrius Douglas announced Saturday on Twitter that he plans to play for the Gophers.
