The University of Minnesota beat Iowa 9-3 in the Big Ten baseball tournament in Bloomington, Indiana on Saturday morning. The Gophers are the No. 3 seed in the eight-team double-elimination tournament.

The teams will play again at 5:30 p.m. with the winner advancing to Sunday's championship game.
