Spartans upset No. 13 Wolverines

• MICHIGAN STATE 2, MICHIGAN 1: Matt DeBlouw's goal at 1 minute, 58 seconds of the third period enabled the Spartans (10-11-2, 4-3-2-2 Big Ten) to upset the No. 13 Wolverines (15-8, 7-2) at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

• OMAHA 3, NORTH DAKOTA 2 (OT): Austin Ortega's 15th goal of the season, 4:27 into overtime, gave the No. 5 Mavericks a victory over No. 1 UND. North Dakota (18-6-2, 9-5-1) had pulled its goalie late in the third period and tied the score on Drake Caggiula's goal with 48 seconds left in regulation. Omaha (16-6-3, 10-4-1), took a 2-0 lead after two periods on goals by Tyler Vesel and Avery Peterson. Luke Johnson scored at 3:23 of the third for UND.

• DENVER 3, MINNESOTA DULUTH 2: Quentin Shore and Joey LaLeggia scores 2:18 apart early in the second period to lead the No. 11 Pioneers (15-8-1, 8-6) over No. 7 UMD (14-10-1, 8-6-1) in Denver.

• ST. CLOUD STATE 7, COLORADO COLLEGE 1: Jonny Brodzinski had two goals and one assist and Kalle Kossila had one goal and three assists to lead the Huskies (11-13-1, 6-8-1) over the host Tigers (5-17-1, 1-12-1).

• MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 5, FERRIS STATE 1: The No. 3 Mavericks (20-5-1, 16-2-1) scored three goals in the opening period and two in the third to beat the visiting Bulldogs (11-14-1, 8-9). Carter Foguth's unassisted goal at 16 seconds, and Teddy Blueger's and Matt Leitner's power-play goals made it 3-0 with only 8:29 gone.

• BEMIDJI STATE 5, BOWLING GREEN 2: Kyle Bauman and Charlie O'Connor each had a goal and an assist as the Beavers (10-12-3, 6-8-3) beat the No. 6 Falcons (15-6-4, 11-4-2).
