UnitedHealth Group shareholders met Monday in Las Vegas, and elected all those nominated to the company's board of directors.

Shareholders also approved United's executive compensation plan, and the appointment of an accounting firm.

The meeting lasted about 15 minutes, and included comments from chief executive Stephen Hemsley about four pilot programs meant to redefine the health care experience.

Among other things, Hemsley said: "We’re testing how to increase compensation to front-line employees based on their accomplishments in elevating and preserving exceptional performance metrics.”
