Remember when the Patriots waxed the Broncos 41-23? Well, word on the street is boxer Floyd Mayweather has a million reasons to remember it. Per the Las Vegas Review-Journal: If the buzz around local sports books is true, boxing champ Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. bet $1 million that Tim Tebow didn't have a prayer against Tom Brady.

Reached for comment Wednesday, Mike Colbert, Cantor Gaming sports book director at M Resort, wouldn't confirm or deny the rumblings. Colbert said he wasn't allowed to comment on who bets what but acknowledged Mayweather is "a valued customer who frequents the books quite often."

If you wish something to be true enough, does it become true? Because this is one of those rumors that's just too awesome to be shot down.
