Looking back at the great magic napkin of late 2010, we see that Local Quipster and your humble proprietor both wanted Donovan McNabb to be the Vikings' 2011 QB far more than we wanted Matt Hasselbeck. Some of us wanted McNabb quite a bit more. But we're not here to talk about the past. Or are we?

No, we're here to talk about the present. Matt Hasselbeck presently has the Tennessee Titans sitting with a 5-4 record and within reach of a playoff berth in the wide open AFC. He also has the fifth-best Total QBR of anyone in the league behind Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady and Tony Romo. (Tebow is 29th, haterzzz).

Is Hasselbeck really having the fifth-best (or at least the fifth-highest contributing) season of any NFL QB?

Has a napkin ever been such burning evidence? Look at our top five! What were we thinking?
