Rodney Williams might not have been drafted on Thursday night, but it didn't take him long to get picked up by an NBA team.

According to Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski, the former Gophers' wing agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers sometime late Thursday night or in the wee hours of Friday morning.

Williams played at Minnesota for four years, gaining a reputation as an athletic freak, even if he wasn't as consistent elsewhere on the court. Last season, the Minneapolis native averaged 10.1 points and five rebounds a game, numbers that were slightly down from the year before. Oh, but the dunks were sweet. It would seem likely that Williams will likely join the Sixers' D-league squad and work to develop his skills.

Still no news on the next move for undrafted Trevor Mbakwe, who has not responded to text messages.
