Longtime Gophers recruit and Golden Valley native Rashad Vaughn has further narrowed his list of schools, and had kept Minnesota involved, according to Adam Zagoria from Zagsblog.com.

Vaughn, who is now at Findlay Prep in Las Vegas, had a previous list of 11 but has eliminated four to produce seven favorites: Arizona, Minnesota, Iowa State, UNLV, Baylor, North Carolina and Kansas.

No longer on Vaughn's short list are UCLA, Georgetown, Kentucky and UConn.

The 6-5 shooting guard's parents hosted Minnesota on a home visit last week, and have also recently hosted Iowa State, Baylor, Kansas and North Carolina.

Vaughn has said he does not plan to official at Minnesota, but has been on campus on multiple occasions.
