All lanes of northbound Interstate 35W in Burnsville have reopened, after all northbound lanes had been closed for more than an hour because of a rollover crash Tuesday morning.

A truck towing a trailer struck the concrete barrier, causing it to roll over and block traffic. The trailer contained one horse, said Lt. Mike Lee with the State Patrol.

The occupants of the vehicle were not injured, and the horse had minor injuries, Lee said.

All traffic was diverted onto Interstate 35E while the lanes were closed. Traffic behind the crash was at a standstill with a backup to near County Road 46, Minnesota Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed.

The crash, which happened in a construction zone, remains under investigation.
