More on Eden Prairie-Rosemount football

The game was filled with excitement as the Eagles rallied to win ... and the postgame was interesting, too.

This was one whale of a football game tonight at Eden Prairie, with lots of twists and turns. Rosemount was dominant in the first half in taking a 21-7 lead that the Irish held through the third quarter. But Eden Prairie is Eden Prairie, and the Eagles pulled together for a 28-21 victory.

If you haven't read my On Preps column from this game, please do so by CLICKING HERE. I don't want to repeat here what I wrote in that piece, so we'll wait while you go read it ...take your time ... tick tock tick tock tick tock...

OK, welcome back. It's certainly an interesting situation, with the rest of the Lake Conference waving goodbye and Eden Prairie left to fend along with Edina, Hopkins, Minnetonka and Wayzata. At this point, it appears that those five schools will be in a conference next year for sure and maybe beyond ... depending on what happens.

I'm curious to read your thoughts and reactions to what I wrote. One caveat: let's keep the discussion clean, please. Any low blows will result in disciplinary action that will go on your permanent record.
