Minnesota United extends goalkeeper's contract, re-signs midfielder

The club will keep goalkeeper Sammy Ndjock and midfielder Juliano Vicentini for the 2016 season.

Minnesota United goalkeeper Sammy Ndjock and midfielder Juliano Vicentini have returned for the 2016 season The club picked up the option to extend Ndjock's contract and Vicentini signed a new deal with the team. Terms were not disclosed.

Ndjock joined United before the 2015 season after beginning his career in France with Lille. He played several seasons in Turkey and represented Cameroon in the 2014 World Cup. He finished the 2015 season with a 12-8-3 record, including seven shutouts and a 1.09 goals-against average.

Vicentini returns for his third season with United. He has been a mainstay in the back of the midfield.

United players reported for preseason training on Monday.
