UPDTAE: Tonight's game is in a weather delay. The Twins lead 6-5 in the top of the 7th inning.

CLEVELAND -- The Twins face the Indians in the second of a three-game series (6:10 p.m., FSN) at Progressive Field. Cleveland won 5-2 on Tuesday night.

Martin Perez (7-2, 3.71 ERA) pitches tonight for the Twins.

Carlos Carrasco was supposed to start tonight, but he probably won't be pitching for awhile. The Indians announced Wednesday afternoon that the 32-year-old Carrasco has been diagnosed with a blood disorder, and has been placed on the injured list while he "explores the optimal treatment and recovery options."

Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said "everyone over here is certainly thinking about him and wishing him and his whole family the best."

The Indians will use their bullpen to cover Carrasco's start tonight, with veteran righthander Tyler Clippard pitching at least the first inning.

Rain has fallen for most of the day here, but the sun came out around 6 p.m. ET and it appears the game will start on time.

Today is the final day of the MLB Draft ... Twins picks are here.

C.J. Cron, 1B

Marwin Gonzalez, 2B
