For the third time this season, Lynx guard Seimone Augustus has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week.

Augustus led the Lynx to a 3-0 record, including a 72-61 victory over San Antonio on Sunday which clinched them the conference regular-season title.

Here is what Augustus, who was a plus-39 player for the week -- meaning her team scored 39 points more than the opposition when she was on the floor -- did in those three victories:

On Tues., Lynx won 78-72 at Tulsa ... Augustus had 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists

On Friday, Lynx beat San Antonio 85-75 at Target Center ... Augustus made 7 of 8 shots from the field and all 5 free throws she attempted for 20 points. She also had 5 rebounds.

On Sun., Lynx beat Silver Stars again, this time 72-61 in Texas ... Augustus scored 20 points and had 5 rebounds and 3 assists

Lynx are 23-6 with five games left.

This is what Augustus tweeted after the award was announced: Thanks everyone for the love, so thankful to receive the POW award. #grateful

This is the seventh time in Augustus' six-year career that she has been named Player of the Week. She is averaging 16.6 points per game -- eighth in the league; shooting 50.8 percent from the field -- second among guards, and averaging 3.8 rebounds -- sixth among guards.

Chicago Sky center Sylvia Fowles was named Player of the Week in the Eastern Conference.
