United Sports Brands, Minnetonka, said it acquired Nathan Sports, Sharon Hill, Pa. Nathan Sports is a maker of athletic hydration, visibility and performance gear for runners. United Sports owns a portfolio of sporting goods companies including Shock Doctor (mouthguards), McDavid (athletic protection and protective apparel), Cutters (athletic gloves) and XO Athletic (athletic cups and sports protection). Nathan Sports is expected to move its operations to Minnesota and California. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Digi International Inc., Minnetonka, said it has sold Etherios, a consulting firm that specializes in delivering cloud-based customer relationship management, to West Monroe Partners for $9 million.

Personnel

U.S. Bancorp, Minneapolis, elected Warner Baxter, Marc Casper and Karen Lynch to its board of directors. Baxter and Lynch will join the board Dec. 7 and Casper will join on March 1.
