Mergers and acquisitions
Cargill Inc., Minnetonka, has agreed to acquire the Leonardo Olive Oil business in India from Dalmia Continental through its Cargill India Pvt. Ltd. subsidiary. Cargill also announced it is acquiring Pet Carousel, a maker of branded and private label pet treats based in Sanger, Calif. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
