Speaking with media Tuesday morning, Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier read a four-minute statement addressing multiple issues with the WNBA. Collier primarily focused on the leadership and officiating in the league.

“Since I’ve been in the league, you’ve heard the constant concerns about officiating. And it has now reached levels of inconsistency that plague our sport and undermine the integrity in which it operates.”

Collier, the runner-up for the 2025 MVP award, is widely considered one of the best players in the world and serves as the vice president of the WNBA Players Association executive committee.
