The Twins traded for two-time World Series champion Anthony Banda as they begin preparations for the 2026 season.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The baseball season has started.

Twins pitchers and catchers are soaking up the Florida sun and firing away Thursday after officially reporting to the Lee Health Sports Complex.

We’ll have updates from access to players and new manager Derek Shelton as the days roll one, with Star Tribune photojournalist Anthony Soufflé also on site.

The Twins even started today with a trade.
