Howard Pulley summer league offers sneak peak at new players

Gophers fans don't have to wait until next season to watch some of the program's new faces compete.

Gophers fans don't have to wait until next season to watch some of the program's new faces compete.

The Howard Pulley pro-am summer league begins Monday night. In the past, the league convened at the Salvation Army in downtown St. Paul. But his year's games will take place at Eagan's High Performance Academy, 2950 Lexington Ave.

The following Gophers are expected to compete in the league this summer:

Fundamentally Sound Athletics: Rodney Williams and Mo Walker

Information Investors Group: Joe Coleman, Andre Hollins, Oto Osenieks and Chris Halvorsen

High Performance Academy: Austin Hollins and Elliott Eliason

Errol Carlstrom Playaz: Trevor Mbakwe and Chip Armelin

-Junior college transfers Julian Welch and Andre Ingram will not compete in the summer league.
