Grain higher on the CBOT, livestock lower on the CME

CHICAGO — Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar delivery was 6.50 cents higher at 5.7350 a bushel; Mar corn was 3.75 cents higher at $3.98 a bushel; Mar oats were unchanged at $3.0225 a bushel; while Mar soybeans gained 1.25 cents to $10.4950 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Feb live cattle was lower 2.85 cent to $1.6075 a pound; Mar feeder cattle was 3.05 cents lower at 2.1400 a pound; Feb lean hogs gained .33 cent to $.7850 a pound.
