Family has identified the 27-year-old man who was shot to death in his Alexandria, Minn., home this week.
Police said the shooting occurred about 1:15 a.m. on Jan. 20 at an apartment in the 1700 block of 6th Avenue E.
They said the man was shot in the chest. Emergency responders declared the man dead at the scene.
Police Chief Scott Kent declined to say anything more about the killing, other than there were two other people in the home at the time. No arrests have been announced.
Denver Ray Feeken was identified by his father as the man who was shot.
Lance Feeken told the Minnesota Star Tribune that his son was a single parent to two children. He said the children were not in the apartment during the shooting.
