Total 2010 return to shareholders: 16.9 percent

Note: Covington took home 15 percent more last year than he did in 2009. The bulk of his 2010 compensation was from the value of restricted stock that vested during the year. Covington didn't get a salary increase in 2010 and, with the exception of one executive, base salaries of senior executives have been the same since Covington started in 2006.

After receiving no annual bonuses in 2009, Covington and other senior executives earned an annual bonus that was 46.5 percent of the target amount in 2010. .
