Minnesota's upset of then-No. 25 Nebraska on Friday night set the stage for changes in the Big Ten power rankings. USC and Washington both fell Saturday, further shaking up matters. (Jeff Wheeler/The Minnesota Star Tribune)

1. Ohio State (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten): The Buckeyes dismantled Wisconsin 34-0 as Julian Sayin passed for 393 yards and four TDs. Ohio State is idle this week before playing host to reeling Penn State.

2. Indiana (7-0, 4-0): The Hoosiers scored TDs on their first five possessions in a 38-13 romp over Michigan State that secured ownership of the Old Brass Spittoon.

3. Oregon (6-1, 3-1): The Ducks rebounded from a loss to Indiana by piling up 750 yards of offense in a 56-10 thrashing of Rutgers.

4. Illinois (5-2, 2-2): After a bye, the Fighting Illini travel for a game Saturday at Washington, where the Huskies have won 23 of 24.

5. USC (5-2, 3-1): Two second-half turnovers and a turnover on downs doomed the Trojans in a 34-24 loss at Notre Dame.

6. Michigan (5-2, 3-1): The Wolverines capitalized on two second-half interceptions in a 24-7 victory over Washington. Michigan now prepares for a visit to rival Michigan State.

7. Iowa (5-2, 3-1): QB Mark Gronowski showed off his running ability — nine carries, 130 yards, two TDs — in a 25-24 win over Penn State.

8. Washington (5-2, 2-2): Tough day for Huskies QB Demond Williams Jr., who threw three interceptions in a span of five passes in the loss at Michigan.

9. Gophers (5-2, 3-1): As you read this, Anthony Smith and Co. just sacked Dylan Raiola three more times.

10. Northwestern (5-2, 3-1): Don’t sleep on these Wildcats. They ran their winning streak to four games with a 19-0 blanking of Purdue.

11. Nebraska (5-2, 2-2): The Huskers fell out of the Top 25 with a 24-6 loss to Gophers. Up next is a visit from surging Northwestern.

12. UCLA (3-4, 3-1): The Bruins used three scoring drives in the final six minutes to edge Maryland 20-17 for their third consecutive victory under interim coach Tim Skipper.

13. Maryland (4-3, 1-3): The Terrapins dropped their third consecutive game — by a combined 10 points — with a loss at UCLA. Maryland has a bye week before playing host to Indiana.

14. Penn State (3-4, 0-4): The Nittany Lions’ free fall continued with a 25-24 loss at Iowa. QB Ethan Grunkemeyer, replacing out-for-the-season Drew Allar, threw two costly interceptions.

15. Rutgers (3-4, 0-4): The Scarlet Knights dropped their fourth in a row after a 3-0 start, and suddenly this week’s trip to Purdue becomes key for Rutgers’ diminishing bowl hopes.

16. Michigan State (3-4, 0-4): The 38-13 loss to Indiana was the Spartans’ fourth consecutive defeat by 11 points or more.

17. Purdue (2-5, 0-4): The Boilermakers amassed 305 yards against Northwestern, but they committed three turnovers and were stopped on fourth down three times in a 19-0 loss.

18. Wisconsin (2-5, 0-4): The Badgers were outgained 491-144 in a 34-0 loss to Ohio State. Wisconsin, which has lost its past five games by an average of 25.2 points, visits Oregon on Saturday.
