At Target Field: Baseball card wall

While that "technically" counts as a cell phone picture from Target Field, violating the plea sent out by commenter Krum in the last post, we couldn't resist posting it.

In our previous visits to Target Field, we missed the wall of enlarged Twins baseball cards (primarily from the 1970s) lining the outside of the stadium (between the light rail stop and the Hrbek gate).

Please do enjoy that Bombo Rivera card, and bonus points to you if you know what year that card is from without looking it up.

We're about an hour from first pitch ... right now, there's a major ceremony for the unveiling of the Kirby Puckett statue. Good times, indeed!
