Apogee Enterprises Inc., a maker of commercial glass and glass technologies, saw its performance increase as more commercial construction projects sprouted with a recovering economy.
Revenue for its fiscal fourth quarter ended Feb. 28 was $246.7 million, the company reported after the market closed on Wednesday. That’s up 15 percent from $214.4 million a year ago.
Net earnings were $13.9 million, or 47 cents a share, up from $8 million, or 27 cents a share, a year ago.
For the year, the company reported earnings of $50.5 million, or $1.72 per share, on revenue of $933.9 million.
The Minneapolis-based company said it expects continued growth. It forecast earnings of $2.05 to $2.20 a share for its new fiscal year, with sales growing 10 to 15 percent.
