Our key takeaways over a 25-year span: football has made massive gains in terms of fan popularity (a combined 43 percent of poll respondents said either pro or college football is their favorite sport, as opposed to 34 percent in 1985); baseball still hasn't come all the way back, and maybe it never will; HOC-KEY?!; and fans are definitely more indecisive about what they like.
