Freshman Rep. Chip Cravaack will make his first trip abroad as a congressman next week when he travels to the Middle East.
Cravaack spokesman Shawn Ryan said Cravaack is headed to "Israel and possibly Pakistan" in a congressional delegation with the House Homeland Security Committee.
For security reasons, the exact dates and cities the delegation is visiting could not be disclosed, Ryan said.
Cravaack is the fourth member of the Minnesota delegation to make a trip abroad this year: Rep. John Kline visited Afghanistan and Pakistan, Rep. Betty McCollum went to Yemen and Rep. Michele Bachmann visited Mexico and Colombia.
