The White Sox haven't swept a three-game series in Minnesota since 2004, but they'll have a chance today with Jake Peavy on the mound, opposite Twins lefthander Brian Duensing.

Manager Ron Gardenhire is giving left fielder Delmon Young and third baseman Danny Valencia the day off. Ben Revere is in left field, and Matt Tolbert is at third base.

Gardenhire said he thought about giving Trevor Plouffe a start at third -- the Twins view that as his second best infield position after shortstop -- but since Plouffe has been playing at second base of late, they want to keep him up the middle.
