626 N. 4th St. in Stillwater is a grand old Queen Anne mansion that was built for William Sauntry, a somewhat eccentric lumber baron and a first cousin to Bing Crosby. Sauntry also commissioned a nearby gym that was inspired by Moorish palaces he saw during his tour of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain.
The house, which has many of its original and very elaborate architectural details, is now being operated as a bed-and-breakfast and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has 28 rooms including 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and 10 fireplaces.
Karin Housley of Keller Williams has the listing. She's at 651-260-8905.
