SOLAR REWARDS
Subsidy for residential and commercial projects up to 40,000 watts.
Budget: $4.6 million per year
Benefit: $2.25 per installed watt in a lump sum.
MINNESOTA BONUS
Subsidy for projects using solar panels made in Minnesota.*
Budget: $4 million this year, $5 million through 2015.
Benefit: Up to $5 per installed watt or 60 percent of cost over five years.
