Police said Thursday they are trying to find whoever fatally shot a woman in her Richfield home.

Kayli Grace Arseth, 22, of Richfield died from a gunshot wound to the head, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

About 9 a.m. Tuesday, police performed a welfare check on Arseth at her apartment in the 7700 block of Penn Avenue S., according to police.

Arseth’s family said their daughter had not been heard from and had not reported to work. Police said they found Arseth dead inside her apartment. There appeared to be signs of a struggle.

“We have no updates to provide yet” concerning an arrest, said Police Lt. Brad Drayna.

Drayna said his department is welcoming tips at www.crimestoppersmn.org.
