• INDIANA 103, PHOENIX 89: Tammy Sutton-Brown scored a career-high 26 points and the Fever set a franchise scoring record in a home victory over the Mercury in the regular-season finale for both teams. Indiana's previous record came in a 102-96 triple-overtime loss to New York on June 26.

• HOUSTON 79, CHICAGO 76: Tina Thompson had 26 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks and the Comets beat the Sky in Chicago. Mistie Williams had 13 points and nine rebounds for Houston (16-17), which won its second in a row.

• DETROIT 61, NEW YORK 59: Deanna Nolan and Plenette Pierson scored 11 points each in the Shock's victory in New York in the teams' season finale.
