The Wild announced that it will be changing its goal song to Prince's "Let's Go Crazy!"

The decision was made in response to feedback the team received from a survey it sent to season-ticket holders this summer. The team says fans voted nearly 2-to-1 in favor of the change.

The Wild used the song in its season-ending loss to Dallas last postseason a few days after the legendary artist's death.

"Our in-arena experience is designed for the fans, so it's great to be able to show them we take their feedback to heart," John Maher, vice president of brand, content and communications for the Wild, said in a news release. "At the same time, it's our privilege to celebrate an iconic hometown artist that clearly has had an incredible impact on our community and the world."

Wild single-game tickets for the upcoming regular season will go on sale Sept. 24.
