Wednesday prep football: Rosemount cruises, Osseo clinches, Rogers escapes, Mounds View outlasts

Highlights from the final night of regular season prep football this fall, as covered by Star Tribune staff:

Rosemount took full advantage of Lakeville North errors, building a commanding halftime lead en route to a 36-7 rout

Osseo clinched the championship of the Northwest Suburban West with a 28-14 victory over Totino-Grace.

Rogers and St. Michael-Albertville went into overtime after a last-second kick by the Royals tied the game. Rogers then won 38-37.

Roseville and Mounds View locked in a tight battle on the Mustangs' home turf with Mounds View coming out on top 50-47.

After eight regular season weeks, the Classic Suburban Conference and the Minnesota River Conference ended with ties atop the standings.
