The Vikings will wrap up their 2025 NFL season on Sunday, Jan. 4 at noon against the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The game will be televised on CBS.
The NFL announced the Week 18 schedule after the Bears lost to the 49ers 42-38 on “Sunday Night Football.”
The Vikings (8-8) were eliminated from playoff contention in Week 15. After a 41-24 loss to the Ravens on Dec. 27, the Packers (9-6-1) were locked into the seventh seed in the NFC playoffs.
The Vikings have won four games in a row, while Green Bay has dropped three straight. The Packers beat the Vikings 23-6 on Nov. 23 at Lambeau Field.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love missed the game against Baltimore with a concussion, and his replacement, Malik Willis, left in the fourth quarter with a shoulder injury. Clayton Tune finished the game.
Vikings starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy also missed his team’s Week 17 game; he suffered a hairline fracture in his right throwing hand against the Giants on Dec. 21. Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell has not ruled out McCarthy playing against the Packers.
“It’s all going to come down to just grip strength, and his ability to grip the football and throw it,” O’Connell said after the Vikings’ 23-10 victory over the Lions on Dec. 25. “We’d obviously love to have him get one more opportunity for this year.”
