Price goes on IR

The Vikings placed cornerback Jabari Price on season-ending injured reserve because of a shoulder injury, and signed linebacker Brandon Watts from their practice squad.

Watts, a second-year player from Georgia Tech, was in two games for the Vikings last season. Price played in 14 games for the Vikings last season, but served a two-game NFL suspension in September for violating the league's substance abuse policy before being injured.

The Vikings also added rookie fullback Blake Renaud and rookie linebacker Terrance Plummer to their practice squad, and released wideout Donte Foster from the squad.

Renaud, signed as a free agent this year out of Boise State, was with the Vikings in training camp before being cut.

Plummer was undrafted out of Central Florida this year, but signed with Washington. He played in three games for the Redskins and had one special teams tackle before he was waived Oct. 5.
