The Vikings will spend Monday and Tuesday at Winter Park before breaking for the bye week. Here's a look back at stories from Sunday's game in Denver:

WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was sacked seven times in the Vikings' 23-20 loss to the Broncos.

Jim Souhan was impressed by Bridgewater's poise during and after the game.

Ronnie Hillman's long scoring run was a key to the Broncos' victory … and other game notes.

Denver QB Peyton Manning wasn't great, but he was good enough.

Adrian Peterson had a long TD run, but lamented the missed block that led to a game-ending fumble by Bridgewater.

And there are a lot of other hidden nuggets from the game on our Vikings page.

TODAY'S SCHEDULE

The players have the day off. Coach Mike Zimmer will have his Monday news conference at 2 p.m. at Winter Park.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Rookie receiver Stefon Diggs was targeted 10 times and caught six passes on Sunday for a team-leading 87 yards. He fumbled twice, but recovered the ball each time. Diggs appears ready to break into the Vikings lineup, but is aware he'll have to hold on to the ball: "I need to get back in the lab and see all the things that I can do better. Ball security when you have the ball in your hand [is key]. You're the most important person in the organization at that moment. I just have to do a better job at that. Luckily, thanks to God, I didn't lose any of them. I'm going to just get better."
