Sometimes it's a running back who stands out. Sometimes it's the quarterback who makes the difference. Sometimes only the defense will do for heroics. And sometimes — this time, in the case of the Vikings — all those options click, points pile up, opponents leave town stinging and home fans spend the time until next time bathing in optimism.
