Updates: The Vikings used their two picks in the sxith round on an offensive lineman and edge rusher. They drafted guard Colby Gossett of Appalachian State with the 39th pick of the round and edge rusher Ade Aruna if Tulane with the 44th.

Both were compensatory picks.

In the seventh round, the Vikings finished off by taking linebacker Devante Downs from Cal.
**The Vikings traded up in the fifth round to take tight end Tyler Conklin from Central Michigan. The deal with the jets involved swapping spots in the fifth and seventh rounds, but the Vikings reacquired the pick from the jets and took kicker Daniel Carlson from Auburn.

**The Vikings used the second pick of the fourth round to select defensive end Jalyn Holmes from Ohio State.
