Bella Galleria: 1338 Randolph Av., St. Paul, 651-698-8662; 3006 W. 50th St., Mpls., 612-922-9227, www.bellagalleria.net. Vibe: Some vintage and antique but eclectic. Some upholstered pieces in the Minneapolis store were slightly dirty.

Corner Door of Wayzata: 1250 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, 952-473-2274, www.cornerdoorofwayzata.com. Vibe: Large space in antique mall, but most of the items are classic, traditional newer pieces, not antiques.

H&B Gallery: 2730 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls., 612-874-6436, www.handbgallery.com. Vibe: About 60 percent higher-end antiques with some mid-century and modern pieces. Higher quality and prices.

The Lived in Room: 826 S. 4th St., Stillwater, 651-351-7222, www.thelivedinroom.com. Vibe: Smaller store with vintage, country and classic styles. Reasonable prices.

Mainstreet Furniture Consignment: 4605 Shady Oak Rd., Hopkins, 952-933-9791, www.msconsignment.com. Vibe: Eclectic but with more classic contemporary than others. Good selection of framed art. Top-notch.

Mary O'Neal: 221 Water St., Excelsior, 952-470-0205, www. maryoneal-estatesales.com. Vibe: Crowded, cluttered but excellent quality and selection, especially in traditional styles. Good selection of framed art.

Movables: 1228 NE. 2nd St., Mpls., 612-746-2929, www.movablesconsignment.com. Vibe: Smaller store but nearly everything, especially upholstery, is in excellent condition and of good quality.

Turn Style Home Accents: Coon Rapids, 763-432-4545, Eden Prairie, 952-974-7921, Roseville, 651-209-0504. Burnsville, Crystal and Woodbury locations have a smaller selection of furniture and accessories. www.turnstyleconsign.com. Vibe: More emphasis on home accessories than furniture. A few items, like framed art, seemed dated.

Wabi Sabi Shop: 10100 6th Av. N., Plymouth, 763-404-8499, www.wabisabishop.com. Vibe: Spacious, large showroom with an eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional. Top-notch.

Nonprofit leaders say they have had to lay off staff and take other measures to shore up finances as the Trump administration’s attacks on diversity, equity and inclusion efforts have chilled corporate giving and led to cuts in federal and state grants.
